Purchases on the new Egenbyggt
These terms apply to orders on nya.egenbyggt.com. The seller is Egenbyggt Sweden AB. The products, prices, VAT, customer details and the version of the terms you accepted are saved with your order. These terms do not affect mandatory consumer rights.
What you order
We sell digital building instructions, not finished furniture or building materials. The contents, language, file format and included documents are shown before you order. PDF files require a PDF reader and an internet connection to download. Web guides open in a current web browser with an internet connection and a customer account. The product description shows whether a web guide is included.
Prices and ordering
Prices are shown in the currency assigned to the selected site language and include VAT. The checkout shows the currency, total and any discount before you order. The final price remains unchanged when the VAT portion is calculated for the customer’s country. There are no delivery charges for digital delivery. You can change your cart and customer details before placing your order. You pay the price shown when you complete the purchase. Only enabled payment methods are offered. Stripe handles card payments and the other payment methods it offers. Swish is offered only in the Swedish checkout in SEK; the payee must be Egenbyggt Sweden AB. Card numbers and CVC codes are handled by the payment provider and are not stored in the shop database.
Digital delivery
After a completed free order or confirmed payment, you receive access to the files linked to your order. The actual PDF language is shown before purchase, including when a product uses an English PDF. Your entitlement belongs to your purchase, not to a public file address. You can order without an account, but a customer account is required to open building instructions from new purchases. Sign in or create an account using the email address from your purchase and use the private link in the order email to link the purchase to My account. Access to older purchases is preserved. The link is normally valid for seven days. Contact us if it has expired. The link’s validity is not the same as your right to use the product. The order confirmation goes to the email address you provided. If delivery fails, contact [email protected] and include your order number.
Withdrawal and immediate delivery
Distance purchases generally have a 14-day withdrawal period. For paid digital content, the right of withdrawal may end when delivery starts, but only after your express consent to immediate delivery, your acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal then ends and our contract confirmation. The checkbox is not preselected. This consent does not affect your right to complain about defects. Contact us or use Withdraw from purchase to notify us that you wish to withdraw; submitting a request does not mean a refund has already been made. You can also use the Swedish Consumer Agency’s standard form. Digital services are subject to the statutory withdrawal rules and exceptions. Consent at checkout does not limit your mandatory rights.
Defects, complaints and refunds
If the content is defective or does not match the agreement, contact [email protected] with your order number and a description of the problem. These terms do not limit your statutory rights under consumer sales law. We handle remedies, price reductions or refunds under the applicable rules. Refunds normally go to the original payment method; we do not mark them as complete until the provider has confirmed them.
Reviews and a personal discount
New reviews may be submitted only for completed orders. Your display name, rating and optional text may be published after moderation; your email address is not published. Imported reviews come from the existing site and relate to earlier purchases. We send one email 10 days after confirmed payment inviting you to review the building instructions you purchased. We send only one review email per order and no reminders. Previous unsubscribes are respected. You can decline these emails through the link in the message or by contacting us. An honest review earns a personal 25% discount code. There is at most one code per order, usable once within 90 days with the same email address. The code cannot be combined with an add-on discount, exchanged for cash or used after the original purchase has been refunded. Rewarded reviews are labelled to show that a discount was offered.
Use and disputes
The building instructions are protected by copyright and may not be resold or distributed publicly without permission. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected. If we cannot reach agreement, you may contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, arn.se, or a court. We assess disputes under applicable law.
