Sun loungers

Build your own sun lounger

A homemade wooden sun lounger turns the deck, poolside or lawn into your own little holiday spot – and you build it in a day or two. Here you'll find DIY plans for sun loungers in two styles. Every plan is a digital file with a complete material and tool list, dimensioned drawings and step-by-step assembly instructions.

Straight or curved model?

Timber and finishing

Both loungers are built in wood. Choose pressure-treated timber for outdoor durability, or build in heat-treated wood. For best comfort: sand all edges and corners with sandpaper or a sander.

How hard is it?

The simple lounger is easy level with straight cuts only. Model 01 is medium – the rounded side pieces are cut out with a jigsaw, the only more advanced step; the rest are straight cuts.

What's included?

A digital PDF straight to your email with a complete material and tool list, dimensioned drawings (in millimetres) and clear step-by-step instructions.
