Adirondack with built-in footrest – DIY Plan

(2 customer reviews)

This is a DIY Plan for those who want to create something really nice for the garden. You’ll get clear instructions for building a classic Adirondack chair, a comfortable and stylish outdoor chair with a built-in footrest that easily pulls out when you want to sit back and relax.

The chair has slightly softer shapes and a sleek design, making it a little more challenging to build than our simpler models. But don’t worry, we’ve done everything we can to simplify construction. You get templates for all the parts that don’t have straight cuts, and they are adapted to be printed at 100% size on a standard A4 printer. Cut out, trace on the wood and saw out with a simple jigsaw.

A sander is also a good idea to have, as it produces a neat result and saves you time.

The finished chair will be both practical and comfortable to sit in, and best of all – you built it yourself!

Bra ritningar med mallar och byggbeskrivningar. Nu hänger det på mig att göra som det står.

Well presented instructions and plans. Fairly easy to follow.
There are a couple of areas where the design could be improved, so I made a few changes as I went along. Overall I am very happy.
