Description
DIY Plan for building a modular sofa. The sofa can be built in as many sections as you want, making it very flexible. You can create a longer sofa by placing the modules closely together, or use them separately as standalone lounge pieces.
The model is without armrests, which gives an open and light expression and makes it easy to adapt to different spaces. The appearance is clean and stripped down with a low, wide seat, legs that stand stable in the corners, and a backrest with horizontal slats that provide a modern expression. The seat and back have a slight tilt that increases comfort, especially together with loose cushions.
The difficulty level is medium and the building time is normally around 6–8 hours. The dimensions are according to the drawing and the sofa is adapted for seat cushions around 70×70 cm and back cushions or pillows around 70×40 cm. The PDF contains a complete shopping list, saw and cutting instructions with drawings, as well as a clear step-by-step assembly guide. The result will be durable, functional, and something to enjoy for a long time.

How the guide works
Step 1
Get building materials
Bring the shopping list to your hardware store. In many places, you can borrow a trailer for free when you buy the material.
The shopping list includes:
- Lumber dimensions and lengths
- Fixing material
- Accessories (varies depending on project).
Step 2
Cut the parts
All parts are clearly drawn and marked with a letter.
This makes it easy to cut all the parts needed for the build.
Step 3
Assembly
Once the parts are cut, it's time for assembly.
The guide shows step-by-step how to assemble the parts through illustrations and concise information on each step.
Experience the magic when everything fits together perfectly.
