DIY Plan for building a tall flower box M. This model is a tall flower box with a more varied and decorative expression, where the walls are built with panels of different widths. The height places the planting at eye level and is well-suited as a standalone piece at the entrance, along a facade, or as a defining element on the patio.
The construction is adapted for an inner pot with an outer dimension of around 375 mm. The edge of the inner pot rests on an inner board, and the box has a bottom on which the pot stands. The bottom height is adjusted according to the height of the inner pot, making it easy to use different types of pots. The panel is built with board widths between approximately 70 mm and 145 mm, creating a more dynamic appearance than a traditional, uniformly wide panel.
If you want to plant directly in the box, the bottom can be built tighter, and the inside can be lined with landscape fabric or planting mat. Board widths and placement can also be changed to give a more personal touch to the flower box.
The difficulty level is easy, and the building time is approximately 4–6 hours. The DIY Plan is delivered as a PDF and includes a complete shopping list, sawing and cutting instructions with drawings, as well as clear step-by-step assembly instructions.
