DIY Plan for building a high flower box S. This is a high flower box that gives a clear and stable impression and fits well at the entrance, on the patio, or as a divider on the outdoor area. The higher construction lifts the planting up and makes it more visible, while also being comfortable to work with.
The flower box is built with 70 mm standing boards and is designed for an inner pot with an outer dimension of around 275 mm. The edge of the inner pot rests on an inner board, and the box has a bottom that the inner pot stands on. The bottom is placed at the height that suits the height of the inner pot, providing flexibility in choosing the pot.
If you do not want to use an inner pot, the bottom can be made tighter, and the inside can be lined with landscape fabric or planting mat for direct planting in the box.
The difficulty level is easy, and the building time is approximately 4–6 hours. The DIY Plan is delivered as a PDF and includes a complete shopping list, sawing and cutting instructions with drawings, as well as step-by-step assembly instructions.
