Description

DIY Plan to build a modern Adirondack chair for children. It is a low and comfortable outdoor chair with a wide seat, slanted back, and straight armrests that make it easy to get in and out of. The shape is modern and minimalist with clear, straight lines, sturdy legs, and a slatted back that gives an airy expression. It fits well as the children’s own spot on the patio, at the outdoor table, or next to the adults’ lounge furniture.

The construction is based on a stable frame with a low seat height and a clearly backward-tilted back that provides a pleasant resting feeling. The seat and backrest are screwed with slats so that the chair becomes both strong and light, and the armrests are connected to the side pieces to create a torsionally rigid whole that withstands daily use. The parts are straight and easy to handle, allowing you to build the chair without special tools and still achieve a neat result if you cut carefully and pre-drill where necessary.

In the PDF that you download as a digital file, you will receive a complete shopping list, saw/cutting instructions with drawings, and step-by-step assembly instructions in a clear manual. The difficulty level is easy, and the building time usually takes 4–6 hours.

Veldig fornøyd med resultatet. Veldig enkel å bygge. Et lite minus er at dimensjonene ikke stemmer med norske, men bordsaga fikset biffen
