This bench has the traditional farm hous style. The dimension and thickniess of lumber makes this a rahter heavy bench. It creates a strong expression and a solid construction.
Of course, it is a bit more work to get the bench right in terms of design, but the feel i more solid and exclusive compared to simpler variants of outdoor benches.
The surface treatment is important and the possibilities are endless. We recommend using some form of lasur instead of covering paint to let the fine texture of the wood shine thorugh in a beautiful way. You can put several layers of lasur for a surface that lasts a long time.
This bench can be built in all types of wood materials. Pine might be the cheapest and easiest to get. It is also a light wood compared to oak or other precious trees which are also much more expensive to purchase.
