DIY Plan for building a modular table that fits with Egenbyggt’s modular sofa. The difficulty level is easy and the project is designed to be clear and easy to follow even for those who have not built similar furniture before.
The modular table has a straight and stable design language with sturdy legs in the corners and a marked frame around the tabletop. The expression is calm and balanced and is suitable both as a café table, footstool, or extra seating in a lounge environment. The table is adapted to work together with the modular sofa and can be combined in a group or used standalone.
The dimensions are adapted to work with seat cushions approximately 70 × 70 cm, the same cushion used for Egenbyggt’s modular sofa. This allows the table to easily be used as seating when needed.
The build time is approximately 4–6 hours. The PDF file contains a complete shopping list, sawing and cutting instructions with drawings, as well as step-by-step assembly instructions.

Impregnerat virke behöver inte behandlas men bordet blir tyngre. Önskar man en annan färg på bordet brukar det rekommenderas att vänta minst ett år så att virket hinner torka ut lite. Om man gillar gråtonen som tryckt virke får efter något år så är det ett bra val.
Obehandlat virke måste behandlas om det ska stå utomhus. Det är lättare än tryckt virke. Det är marginellt lättare att jobba med. Det kräver också ett visst underhåll under åren som kommer. Vi brukar rekommendera att prata med en lokal färgbutik, de har bäst kunskap kring sina produkter om grundning och ytbehandling. Önskar man en specifik kulör direkt så är detta ett bra val.
